KEYKING introduced the strong commitment for the use OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) In the past two years, upgrading all existing and future controllers to support OSDP in mixed with the older Weigand protocol, becoming the focus of this year CPSE. The product uses bi-directional communication between the controller and the card reader through RS485, and only two wires are needed for it. Simplifying the wiring process. Compared with the traditional Wiegand protocol, OSDP can provide up to 1Km (4000ft.) distance and option for secured communication. Additional capabilities provides better security of installations, reader configurations and much more. As OSDP is an International Standard, it ensures compatibility with other OSDP devices in the market.
PoE and PoE+ integration across the whole line
KEYKING is moving to PoE and PoE+ on most controllers and biometric devices, removing the need for complex power wiring and significantly saving installation and maintenance costs of power supply equipment. (the option to power with 12Vdc still available on all devices). At present, the goal is to transition all devices with ability to control doors to PoE+ with 1A for lock operation. This approach had attracted lot of interest on site from designers, engineers and installers.
New architecture of Cloud Access Control: Localization + Cryptographic Evaluation Certification, creating a new Intelligent Access experience
KEYKING launched a new architecture of cloud access control system. simple "zero wiring and instant deployment" as its core advantages. It supports multiple access methods such as cards, fobs, QR Code, PIN fingerprint and face recognition, and Multifactor Multirole ID. Remote door opening. On-Device database that keep working regardless of connection combined with cloud data storage ensures security without any downfalls. The system can be used in any environment, from small offices to enterprises, communities, parking and many other applications. Providing central and distributed management and control without the need for complex networks and security infrastructure.
